Nate was laying on his bed staring up at his ceiling for the past hour thinking about what he should do about him, his fiance and Sophie, since it is obvious to him that his feelings for Sophie are becoming stronger every time he spends time with her. Nate turned to his bed side table and opened up the secret compartment on there and pulled out the complete sketch of him and Sophie being together as a couple. "What should I do, as I am in love with you but I am engaged to my fiance." Nate thought as he let out a sigh.
'What is that drawing of, brother?' came a male voice.
Nate turned to the door way and saw his younger brother standing there. "Oh this..." Nate said as he shoved it into his trouser's pocket. "...it is just a drawing I have been working on. Nothing to get worked up on." Nate said as he smiled at his brother as he is the only person that knows that he is falling for his student.
Nate got off of his bed and closed the door not wanting to be disturbed. Nate then walked over to his bed and picked up his bag. He shoved a few things into his bag before he made his way to his car and drove to the school planning on doing some dancing in the Dance Studio.
Nate walked up to his locker and opened it. He took out his dancing clothes out of his bag and started to empty his pockets into his locker and stopped when he got to the sketch of him and Sophie. He unfolded it and looked down at it hoping none of his friends sees the sketch. "What am I to do?" Nate mumbled to himself.

YOU CAN BE MY again! skylar groaned as she forced herself up off the dance floor. her dance teacher and her partner had been in her home's private dance studio working on a duet that they were choreographing for a local festival, but for some reason, her mind and her heart just weren't in it. she bit her lip as she stood up and brushed herself off, wincing slightly from the fall she had just taken when her dance partner dropped her. again, she found herself on the opposite side of the studio, chasse-ing towards her partner and she felt his hands grip her waist, lifting her into the air, but then the sudden, familiar thud of the ground and the pain that followed reminded skylar that once again, they didn't land the lift. alright, we'll finish this tomorrow. practice, please. and ice yourself to avoid any pain tomorrow, sky. she nodded and walked away, hearing the door open as her teacher left.
sorry about the dropping. i guess we both just aren--- she sighed and turned, taking a sip from her water bottle, shaking her head at him. "don't worry about it. tomorrow, okay?" she sighed. she watched him grab his things and go and skylar was instantly frustrated. her perfectionist side was coming out and she really didn't need to be worrying about this right now. she grabbed her sweater and pulled it on, along with her boots before slipping out of the dance room, turning the light out. she left the house and got into her car, pulling into the school's parking lot. she needed to working on some pieces for thespian festival anyways. she grabbed her duffel bag and made her way into the school, letting her red hair out of the messy bun on top of her head and fall into curls over her shoulders.
she spotted a familiar face and smiled to herself before creeping up behind her dark-haired friend. she placed her hands over his eyes and stifled a laugh. "guess who!" she chimed. she finally chuckled and pulled her hands away, leaning back against the lockers next to his. "hi stranger! what are you mumbling about? i heard you halfway down the corridor," she teased him, smiling up at the familiar face of nate, her dancer friend. |

Nate noticed heads turning out the corner of his eye as foot steps came closer to him. "Now who can make the male student body's heads turn to look at the person?" Nate thought. Nate smirked slightly when he felt a pair of hands cover his eyes and someone playing the guess who game. "Well since who ever this is, I am guessing is the person who has made most of the male student's heads turning and then add the fact that I need to guess who this is... that narrows it down." Nate said. Nate smirked when the hands removed them self from covering his eyes. Nate turned his head when he noticed a brown haired female leaning against the locker next to him. Nate quickly put the sketch of him and Sophie under a pile of books in his locker.
Nate then turned to look at the female who he is jealous of since she is a triple thread as she can dance, act and is musically talented but he would never admit that to her or anyone else. "Well that depends entirely on what you heard me mumbling about?" Nate asks the female as he raises an eye brow. "If you heard everything you supposedly heard then you would know what I was mumbling about... but if you didn't hear any of the things that I was mumbling about then I guess I won't tell you since it is personal. So I take it you have finished your private rehearsal at your home?" Nate asks the female. Nate finished of unpacking his pockets so he put his dancing clothes into his bag.
"Do you reckon you can handle another dance rehearsal since I do need to clear my head about some things. Plus it will be fun to have some competition... well that is unless you are to tired from your private dance rehearsal to even have a little competition?" Nate said teasing the female slightly. "You've seen Sophie at all recently?" Nate asks as the one thing that has made him and Skyler close are that they both enjoy dancing and they are both friends with Sophie to some degree, it isn't that surprising if they bring it up in convocation with each other.

YOU CAN BE MY skylar could feel the eyes of the boys of newbrook performing arts academy turning to look at her as she entered the main hallway where most of the lockers were. it was something that sky had grown accustomed to. of the students at the school, she had made herself known as the girl that was always smiling and pretty much as outgoing and down to earth as possible for a seventeen year old girl to be. not only that, but she spent a lot of her time at the school. yes, her wealthy family provided her with a perfectly nice, large empty house for her to lounge around in, but she was always pushing herself to be the best. that may have came across as egotistical, but skylar was very realistic with herself and her goals. she knew that there were thousands of girls across the country and the world that were all fighting for the same roles as her and they were just as talented, if not more talented and she knew that if she wanted the job at the end of the day, she had to work herself as much as possible.
she laughed at his comment as she covered his eyes. "oh shut up. they only turn to look because i'm the only female within a fifty foot radius because most girls are out expanding their social lives right now," she joked. she leaned back against the lockers and raised an eyebrow at him and his next comment. "oh come on. you're always so secretive," she laughed, but didn't push the subject any further. she shrugged and pulled back her sweater a bit to reveal her bruised knees that were already developing from today's rehearsal. "i guess you could say that. didn't get much accomplished," she trailed off. she really didn't know where her focus was today, which she felt bad about her partner having to deal with her today.
his little challenge made her smirk and she pulled away from the locker, standing upright, folding her arms across her chest. "you know i can never resist a little competition," she grinned. she reached into her bag and pulled out her phone, shooting her parents a text to let them know where they were. she looked up from her texting and gazed at him, surprised about him asking about sophie. last she had seen, he hadn't really paid much attention to her. then again, skylar had rarely seen them interact much. "actually, now that you mention it, i haven't seen her in a while outside of school. i should probably text her," she replied, while turning back down to her phone to text her best friend. it was odd that she hadn't seen sophie in a while. "so what is this dance rehearsal for anyways?" she questioned him. |

Nate did have to wonder about if he was single, both Sophie and Skyler are single, there are attraction between them, just who would he choose to go out with. Him and Skyler have a fair bit in common as they both like dancing and are both just as competitive as the other one and they both come from fairly rich families. While him and Sophie don't have that much in common with each other with Sophie mainly focusing on her actress course while Nate is focusing on his dancing course. But then there is the fact of Nate teaching Sophie some dance routines what Sophie is grateful for. But he wouldn't really choose one of them since there is no way he will be able to get out of his forced marriage, there isn't any point in him thinking about who he would chose out of the two females.
Nate raised an eye brow when he heard Skyler laugh at his comment. "That is hard to believe as even males in relationships heads turn when you walk down the hall unless they have something to lose like I do." Nate said as he smirked at her. "Oh please the females social skills in this academy involves two different things, what are parties and sex. You are mostly likely the only female who loves sex so it is no wonder people's heads turn when you are walking down the hall." Nate said. "Well it all comes down to if I am doing something that I shouldn't be doing, and it also depends on if I even want to be sharing what I was mumbling about with anyone." Nate said. Nate then gulped as he wondered if Skyler could tell about his growing feelings for her best friend or not. He whistled when he saw the bruised knees of Skyler "It looks like you where either fighting with someone on the floor or you where having some very rough sex on the floor. The second option wouldn't really surprise me with you though Skyler." Nate said as he laughed slightly at the female. Nate did have to wonder on why some people like Skyler who could have most guys she wanted has the need to sleep with different people.
Nate smirked at the female when Skyler pulled away from the locker and stood up right with her arms folded in front her chest. "I know that as with out a little competition between fellow dancing people that the lessons become boring as you will have no idea how good the other dancers are and then you will have no idea just how much you need to practice to be the best dancer you can be." Nate said as he shrugged slightly. "Tut, tut, tut... not staying in touch with your best friend." Nate said teasing the female. "Well I just have a lot on my mind so I just want to clear my mind." Nate said.
