SAM didn't like going out in public with Matt because if someone saw them they would definitely be the talk of the town. After all, it wasn't like people didn't want them to be together, but since they did live together it would seem so weird to come out that they were dating. They had known each other their entire life, which made it obvious they were going to have interests in each other at some point. And that point was now, at the moment they were really into each other and so they had decided to go to a little restaurant on a date. It was off the beaten path, so she assumed their chances of being spotted together in a romantic setting would be less likely to happen. Sam felt so loved when Matt held the door open for her and she waltzed in to the Italian Bistro.
Her outfit of choice was a fancy blouse and jeans, but tonight she had decided to get a little more dressed up. Instead of her usual outfit she was donning a gray and black, striped dress with a pink jacket. She also wore a set of matching pink heels. Her eyes were decked out in a pastel pink eye shadow and eye-liner along with some mascara to flare up the lashes. With a little bit of make-up on the face, and her red hair straightened, Sam felt perfect!
The restaurant was dimly lit, nicely decorated, and reminded her of the night she and Matt had first kissed. She had accompanied Matt and his family to a beach resort in the Caribbean. On the last night they were there they ate out on the veranda with Matt's family and then she and Matt had gone for one final walk on the beach. Sam was so surprised when she saw a blanket in the sand with cute candles for them to watch the sunset on. Then, one thing led to another and next thing she knew they were kissing in the dim sunlight as it faded over the horizon. Ah, good memories, now she was hoping to make more with the man of her dreams, Matthew Archer King.
The hostess greeted them as they came into the restaurant and immediately took them to a table. It wasn't busy at all and they were seated in a secluded corner making things even more romantic. Sam couldn't believe Matt had gone through all this trouble so they could have such a wonderful date. They were just being seated and she was already feeling emotional. Wasn't he just perfect? These feelings were making everything so complicated. She was too young to be falling for one guy; she was known for going on a date with a different guy every day of the week. Why was Matt just so appealing to her? Maybe they weren't meant to be, but this date was still perfect and she was buckling at the knees just thinking about all of the fun times they could have together.

Matt smiled because honestly everything was different when he was with Sam. It wasn't his fault he had to lie to Jaxon. Its just he didn't know if him and Sam would want the world to know they were dating. Matt adore his red, his little sam and honestly kissing her just made him feel great. He couldn't help but want to be with her but there was this thing call real world. Everyone always thought they were together and honestly they never were till now. He still didn't know how to tell all his friends they were. He wanted them to feel like there relationship was real till everyone found out.
He was happy to be out with her and honestly it had always been secret places since she knew that he wasn't sure about them. Matt did in fact have commitment issues. He didn't know how to be with Sam. They had always been friends and the first time they kissed in the Caribbean that changed everything for the boy. Matt looked at her and couldn't believe how beautiful she looked tonight. ''Sam, I think we should talk, about us what are we exactly i mean are we dating or not'' He asked. He hoped he didn't sound too nervous when he ask but he just wanted to know did he have a girlfriend or not. He smiled he had to make this date prefect. It would most likely be the date that would make them figure out if they were or weren't a couple. He couldn't help but make it amazing. He was in love with her. He just couldn't tell her. He had fallen for his best friend.
He was happy they were seated so fast and he wonder what she was thinking. He knew that he was thinking, am i crazy for telling jaxon i love her or am i crazy for being so chicken when im around her. He sighed and tried to think what to pick from the menu. He couldn't stop being so nervous. He had butterflies in his stomach. ''So Sam, how is everything going at school, i'm sorry we can be seen out in public but i want us to figure out everything because you know Jaxon, he will be the first one to say i told you so'' He said. He hated that he felted like he was rambling. He then decide to look at her. He couldn't help but stare at her and how cute she was tonight. He felted like the world always stop when he was with her. He blushed because he heard her say something. ''What sam, i'm sorry i couldn't help but stare at you, you honestly are the most beautiful girl in the room and i adore you'' He said.
In his mind he was thinking that was close to i love you be carefully. He need to wait to see what sam even though about them being a couple. He sat there and started to drink his water. He didn't know why he was so nervous. He decide to look at the menu and looked up when he heard his name from her lips. He smiled and waited patience for her answers and honestly hoped the rest of this night wouldn't be so nerve racking and he would not spill with those famous three little words.
